The sun sets on the 2018 global street paper summit
The sun has set on the 2018 Global Street Paper Summit in Glasgow, and delegates are heading back to their home countries inspired and motivated by three days of keynotes, panel discussions and break-out sessions with their international colleagues.100% of delegates felt they’ve been inspired by the summit, and 94% felt they’ve gained new ideas.
“It is very refreshing to look at your street paper from the outside, to compare it with other street papers, and get inspired from the projects they have,” said Maria Portilla, Editor and Director of Mexican street paper Mi Valedor. “It is very inspiring.”
Viggo Mastad, Board Member of Norwegian street paper Sorgenfri, said the summit was “a great way of connecting with colleagues from all over the world. It makes you realise you’re part of something bigger!”
As #INSP2018 drew to a close, attention turned to the 2019 Summit, being hosted by Asphalt in Hannover, Germany.
Asphalt’s Managing Director Georg Rinke said: “I am very happy that international guests from more than 40 countries will join us in Hannover for the 2019 summit. We will make sure the 25 year anniversaries of both Asphalt and INSP are celebrated properly!”
